ENROLMENT
PROCEDURES: Children who turn 5 years of age by 31 July are eligible to commence Kindergarten in that year. Children can be enrolled at school on the third and fourth days of Term 1 and must be enrolled before the end of Term 2. All children must have commenced school before turning 6 years of age. Enrolment forms are available at the school. Parents of Kindergarten children are encouraged to complete these and return to the school during Term 3 prior to enrolment the following year. Kindergarten orientation and transition activities are planned in Term 4 before actual enrolment the following year to allow children to get to know the school and teachers; and for the school to begin conducting assessments for each child. - OUT OF AREA: Parents can apply for an “out of area” enrolment. These enrolments will be considered by a panel before a decision is made. These “out of area” enrolments only apply to students living outside the school’s designated drawing area. Parents need to ask Office staff how to apply.
