SCHOOL SPORT:

The school has been divided into these four houses:

Bradman          : red                  (Sir Donald Bradman - cricket)                       

Ella                   : green              (Mark Ella  - rugby union)       

Fraser              : blue                 (Dawn Fraser – swimming)

Newcombe      : yellow              (John Newcombe – tennis)     

When the children are enrolled in the school they are allotted a house. They remain in this house throughout their school career.

Younger children are automatically placed in the same house as older members of the family.

Sports organization ensures that equal opportunities for participation are available to all students regardless of ability, sex, age or maturity. No group is to be discriminated against in the allocation of the available resources. Where appropriate, sporting activities are on a co-educational basis

Carnivals for Swimming, Athletics and Cross Country are held at appropriate times during the year.

Year 3 to 6 students participate in organised sporting activities at an inter-school level and those

displaying special talents have the opportunity to participate up to the state level in athletics, cross country, swimming and team sports.

THE EMPHASIS ON  SPORT IS INVOLVEMENT AND GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP, NOT ON WINNING OR LOSING!
